Our Story

Established in 2004, Stitch City Tailor brings over 50 years of combined tailoring expertise to every garment. Our journey began with the opening of our first location in Garden City Mall. In 2008, we expanded further—opening three additional locations at Kenaston Common, Grant Park Shopping Centre, and a third at St. Vital Square. Wtih four locations, Stitch City quickly became the largest chain of tailoring shops in Manitoba. Continuing our growth, we proudly opened a new location at Calgary South Centre Mall in August 2023, marking our expansion into Alberta. As hands-on owners, we take great pride in maintaining high standards and ensuring the quality of every alteration. Our team is highly experienced and dedicated to delivering excellent craftsmanship. Approximately 80% of our work involves altering brand-new garments, and we offer same-day hemming services at competitive rates. While we don’t compare our prices with every other tailor shop, we believe our rates are among the most affordable—and our loyal customer base reflects that.
